I am Mark Splinter, and this is my stuff.

I have recently been attacked by Anonymous for "supporting paedophiles" in the biggest and most unbelievable scandal in Lithuania. All good experience for an upcoming article about internet freedom and justice.

I have been a consultant in the entertainment industry for more than ten years, major labels and indies, organising events, writing words and music, developing brands and producing websites.

I started my career in London during the dotcom boom, and emigrated to Lithuania in 2004 to experience the birth of New Europe.

In 2006 I received an entrepreneurship award for my cultural work in Lithuania, presented by HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

I recently started an online design company specialising in the entertainment industry.

I am studying for a Law degree with the University of London by distance learning. I have also managed a nightclub and fired a wide selection of 9mm pistols.

Afghanistan

In June 2011 I had a holiday in Kabul, Afghanistan, with Kabul At Work, a documentary project. My In Kabul Blog is online now.
